Rabbi Backman’s Commitment to Nurturing Jewish Minds
I worked as a Rebbi in Cheder Oholei Chinuch Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been teaching Chumash, Mishna, for over 20 years. I constantly researched and advanced in learning, teaching methods, effective classroom management and participation. I took a coaching course from Refuah in Israel, where I learned and practiced coaching using the solution focused, collaborative method, we have relocated to the states about 10 years ago, and I have specialized in Kriah. I’ve taken courses and worked with various degrees of Kriah difficulties, gaining experience in the field.
I am currently working as a specialty tutor in Cheder Chabad of Monsey, helping children with Kriah challenges as well as helping students build Chumash, Mishna, and Gemara skills. Another field im involved in is coaching parents and educators using my 30 plus years of experience in classroom and individual teaching, as well as solution focused coaching skills.
